About this Modpack
NOTE: this project has been discontinued.

A compilation of mods for singleplayer gameplay improvement, optimizations included.
Improved and optimized graphics

It was essential to include mods that improve graphics and optimize the game's rendering and frames.
Popular graphics and optimization mods were featured such as Sodium, Iris Shaders Entity Culling and etc.
Shaderpack Complimentary Shaders is installed with custom configurations included!
Increased immersion

The vision for this modpack was to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible outside of only adding shaders.
Mods such as Not Enough Animations bring life to otherwise dull and static vanilla mobs, while adding flare to player animations as well.
Other mods like Ambient Sounds, Presence Footsteps and Sound Physics Remastered rework the ambience of the game and allows you to sink into the enviroments you enter with amazing SFX, and etc.
Client-side improvements

It was important to set some priorities and add some non-intrusive client-side gameplay and UI improvments to the game.
While exploring, sometimes it's useful to know what you're looking at and know what you pick up on the fly, so, mods Jade and Pick Up Notifier do just that (custom configurated)!
Mods like AppleSkin and Item Borders allow you to know how much saturation and healing food will provide and show item rarity in item slot respectively, for example, the Golden Apple in the screenshot below demonstrates those 2 mods!
Vanilla+ mods
New additions

To keep the game interesting and less stale, some mods were added to improve long-term vanilla-style gameplay without adding too much content.
Moog's End Structures, as it implies, adds more structures to the End dimension, the exploration there will feel a bit less empty and will still feel incredibly vanilla, while Tidal Towns adds a new type of village in the oceans, completely unobtrusively and blending in with the game's style.
Improvements and tweaks

These next mods were purposefully added to improve quality of life, simple as that.
The compilation of Easy mods such as Easy Anvils and Easy Magic make gameplay mechanics for anvils and enchanting tables so much more convenient, allowing those entities to hold storage.
Other compilation of tweaks like Mooshroom Tweaks, Realistic Bees and Spawn-Proofed Villagers change behavior and aesthetics of these mobs for better experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Immersive Valley server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Immersive Valley server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Immersive Valley without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Immersive Valley server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
