About this Modpack
This modpack has many mods included in it that are aimed at optimization. Nvidium is included so Nvidia graphics cards can be nearly fully utilized when playing without shaders enabled (Nvidium turns off when shaders are enabled, but the frames are still great!). Shaders will always be usable no matter what modpack version you download of this modpack. The first few versions will have some unnecessary library mods included because I ported this from one of my own modpacks. Have fun and enjoy the great frames and shaders!
Do Not: Don't update any mods after installing the modpack, this can make some mods not be compatible with eachother, etc Nvidium and Iris
Recommended: Allocating at least 8 gigabytes of memory is recommended for best performance on version 0.5 with high render distances, on any versions after 0.5, 4 gigabytes of memory is recommended, though 2 gigabytes is possible. Turning of Vsync in the game settings is also recommended
IMPORTANT: Feel free to add mods into this modpack to make it your own, just please don't re-upload the exact same modpack as this
Shaders: If you are using a lower end system and are planning to use shaders, I'd recommend Solas, Complimentary, or the Photon shader. Rethinking voxels is very taxing on even higher end systems
Through my testing with related modpack, Fabulously Optimized, I have noticed a slight 10% ~ 15% framerate difference when running shaders.
Fabulously Optimized Shader: Rethinking Voxels, ~77 FPS
Infinity Shader: Rethinking Voxels, ~86 FPS
That is about a 12% FPS improvement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Infinity server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Infinity server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Infinity without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Infinity server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
