In the West - a wild and western Minecraft Modpack

A modpack inspired by the wild west. Including many new blocks, guns, mechanics and beautiful nature.

Core features:

Beautiful worlds

with still life and lithosphere (and some others) the overworld has been transformed to better match the vibe of the wild west

Guns

A Western would be no western without revolvers and rifles. Enjoy all the iconic guns of Red dead redemption II (a game that inspired this modpack a lot)

Survival and realism

The West was, by all accounts, a harsh place. I tried to recreate the daily struggle for survival using mods such as tough as nails and serene seasons. Farming has been overhauled using Farmer's delight (with many addons) and several of the let'sDo mods.

Horses

Howdy Cowboy! Horses have been overhauled, but i tried to keep the iconic vibe of vanilla minecraft horses.

Industry

If you don't want to become a cowboy or sheriff, you could become a industry tycoon instead. Mass-produce goods, food, or items with Create and Immersive Engineering! Enjoy capitalism unsing Create:Numismatics to sell your wares to your unsuspecting friends. Or build a railroad between cities... and charge them for it!

clothes and hats

If you die to the harsh deserts and badlands, you also might do it in style! Choose from many different outfits and, ofcourse: always wear a cowboy hat!

Other things i wanted to say

I made this pack because i could not find a wild west themed modpack that i liked. I think i did quite well on this, atleast it all works. I have to confess, this is my first real modpack. I hope you can enjoy it.
It is perfectly playable in sigleplayer, but i designed with the option to play on a server in mind. If you do that, you might want to add a voicechat mod!
