JES is designed around a single question: what does a redstone survival player actually need?

The answer is a tight, curated set of mods that covers four pillars — performance, redstone tooling, survival quality-of-life, and visual polish — without a single mod that doesn't earn its place. Every mod in this pack was chosen because it solves a real problem. Nothing made the cut just because it was popular.

⚡ Performance

Sodium + Lithium + FerriteCore form the core. Rendering is fast, game logic is fast, and memory usage is genuinely lower than vanilla. ImmediatelyFast handles UI rendering acceleration on top of that.

🔴 Redstone & Building

Carpet gives you full control over redstone mechanics and server-side statistics. Tweakeroo adds a suite of client-side utilities for precision play. MiniHUD keeps the information you need visible without cluttering your screen. Litematica handles schematic projection so your builds stay on-plan.

🎒 Survival & Utility

JEI for recipe lookup. Mouse Tweaks for faster inventory management. ViaFabricPlus so you can connect to servers running different Minecraft versions without swapping installs. An auto-fishing assistant for the long hauls. e4mc for instant LAN-over-internet with friends — no port forwarding, no extra software.

Iris Shaders with Indium for full shader support alongside Sodium. Continuity for connected textures. Smooth Swapping for fluid inventory animations. GUI transitions and scroll behavior that feel polished rather than snappy.

The pack is multiplayer-ready. ViaFabricPlus lets you connect to servers on different versions. e4mc enables internet-accessible LAN worlds without port forwarding.
