About this Modpack
Heyas! I am Lark The Octo Plays (formerly known as DRG Gaming) and this modpack is intented to be an update of my Curseforge modpack, Ragnarsson Fabric Pack.
Not only is this updated to Minecraft 1.20.2, the list of mods has also changed quite a bit.
Important things to note:
-When you spawn in Singleplayer, you automatically gain "operator rights", even when you don't enable cheats during world creation.
-Content from Parzi's Star Wars mod is only accessible through spawning it in using JEI (ctrl+click the wrench icon next to the search bar to toggle cheat mode)
-Custom HUD elements are provided by EssentialsHUD
-Custom Dimension, Starry Skies, is accessible by building a Nether Portal out of Packed Ice and lighting it with Flint 'n' Steel. Be mindful that the first planet you start in is not necessarily a 'wood' planet
-World Gen is provided by Terralith, and a few custom structure mods are provided as well
-The pack comes with custom 'default' keybinds, but feel free to change them as you see fit
-Endermen don't get angry if you look at them and Phantoms are not hostile
-Mobs always deal damage equal to 'Normal' difficulty regardless of settings
The early versions of this pack should be considered "work in progress", at least until the Star wars mod gets updated to the point where its content is accessible in survival

Frequently Asked Questions
LarkTheOcto's Fabric Pack server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a LarkTheOcto's Fabric Pack server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to LarkTheOcto's Fabric Pack without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
LarkTheOcto's Fabric Pack server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
