Legacy Console Menus
Enjoy the nostalgic menus of Legacy Console Edition. The main menu as well as the options menus are all in the style of Legacy Console Edition. The inventory, crafting menu, and creative menu have all been reworked to replicate their layout and functionality in Legacy Console Editio.
Legacy Console Mechanics
Mechanics from Legacy Console Edition have been brought to Java, such as increased flight speed in creative, player bobbing, and Legacy Console's autosaves. The Tutorial World also makes a return, allowing the player to explore a vast premade world.
Bedrock Edition Parity
In an attempt to mix Bedrock Edition with Legacy Console Edition, many Bedrock Edition features have been ported over as well. The block bridging mechanics in Bedrock Edition can now be toggled on or off. The player's coordinates are dislayed on screen at all times, being able to be deactivated in the settings if desired. The Camera item and Snowy Leaves from Bedrock Edition have also been added. Potions can now be placed into cauldrons, and many items can be dyed by right clicking them with the desired dye. Lastly the Wither boss has been made more difficult, now matching the Bedrock Edition Wither fight.
Lost Features
Some lost features have also made a return. Cyan Flowers and Roses have been revived for the player to decorate with. Lost recipes, such as crafting an Enchanted Golden Apple, have been brought back. The combat has also been reworked to match the old combat mechanics before the 1.9 update.

Legacy Console Reloaded server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Legacy Console Reloaded server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Legacy Console Reloaded without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Legacy Console Reloaded server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
