About this Modpack

I remembered playing Tekkit Classic in my childhood and watching YouTube videos about it. This made me want to play it again, but in modern Minecraft. So I created this modpack.

Lexi's Modern Tekkit aims to recreate the Tekkit experience, in the modern era of Minecraft, in specific, Tekkit Classic. Tekkit Classic is a lightweight technic modpack based on a much older version of Minecraft. Main parts of it were IndustrialCraft 2 and BuildCraft.

LMT uses the modern equivalents of these mods such as Tech Reborn for IC2 or Simple Pipes for Buildcraft.

The goals in this modpack are the same as in Tekkit Classic: Build and automate factories, production and make your progression easier as you find better resources and build better machines. There is no questing system like it also was in the original.

Currently there are 16 mods included in the newest version.

How to Set Up a Lexi's Modern Tekkit Server

Order Server

Choose at least 8 GB RAM (12 GB recommended for Lexi's Modern Tekkit). Based on player count: per 3 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Lexi's Modern Tekkit" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Lexi's Modern Tekkit server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 12 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match.
