Why Lilypad?

Lilypad is built for servers that need speed and stability. No clutter, no unnecessary mods — just what’s essential for a smooth, reliable Minecraft experience. Its carefully chosen mods ensure that vanilla players can still join with no extra downloads required. Lilypad also includes bug fixes to make gameplay smoother and more consistent.

What’s the Difference?

Unlike most optimization modpacks, Lilypad is built specifically for servers. Many packs include mods that don’t even impact server performance — Lilypad doesn’t. Every mod included is chosen to enhance server efficiency and stability, nothing more.

Updating the Modpack & Tags

Before we upload a new Lilypad update, we assess performance under normal conditions. If the update meets our internal performance targets, it will be released with an “A” in the version name.
If it fails to meet those targets, it will be released with an “F” in the version name.

Tags

• A — Stable and user-ready; no major issues.
• B — Acceptable but below optimal performance targets (FPS and/or frametime slightly off).
• F — Performance issues; FPS and/or frametime significantly below target.
