About this Modpack

🚀 This modpack is not intended to be used on a daily basis, given the extreme preconfigurations that aim to minimize latency. Instead, this should only be used once to test what your PC can achieve.

In Minecraft modding, more optimization mods is not always better. If you were to install every optimization mod out there, the conflicts they create together and the bare amount of them is going to backfire and hinder the performance. This factor alone makes optimization modpacks substantially harder perfect and overall to get one to be "more optimized" than others.

Yet, here we are. This modpack is the result of me going through dozens of optimization mods, installing all of the notable ones, and then one by one removing mods that do not really do anything and only slow down the game. But that's not all. Even with the best combination of mods, you still have to configure each one correctly if you want to squish out all the FPS you can possibly get.

So that's what I did; I've preconfigured many of the mods to the extreme for the best performance possible. I went above and beyond, several aspects of the Vanilla game have been killed for performance. These include removing the lightning engine, entity rendering, sky renderering, particle rendering, and more.

This level of optimization is not found in normal "Optimized MC" modpacks (Because it's incovnenient for every-day use) So you're truly going to find results here you haven't seen before!

Performance Details
Setup Results with i7-8700K Results with Intel Core 3 100U
Vanilla 1400 FPS 600 FPS
Sodium 1900 FPS 640 FPS
Latency Nullifier 2400 FPS 700 FPS
Limitless Optimizations 3000 FPS 1200 FPS
Limitless Optimizations (F1 Enabled) 3800 FPS 1900 FPS

Tests are executed with minimal settings and in a superflat world. Go test it yourself!

🎯 Since this modpack is not ideal for every-day use! I recommend people looking for the absolute minimal and lightest Minecraft experience to have a look at Latency Nullifier

Frequently Asked Questions

Limitless Optimizations server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Limitless Optimizations server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to Limitless Optimizations without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Limitless Optimizations server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
