Livia Modpack
Essential mods for a better experience on Livia SMP
About this Modpack
Livia Modpack
The official recommended client modpack for Livia SMP, built for Minecraft 26.1.2 on Fabric.
This pack keeps the game close to vanilla while making the client smoother, cleaner, and better suited for playing on Livia SMP. It includes proximity voice chat, map tools, performance improvements, shader support, visual polish, and Livia-specific client quality-of-life fixes.
Main features
Plasmo Voice
Built-in proximity voice chat for a more natural SMP experience. Talk to nearby players in-game instead of relying only on text chat or external voice channels.
JourneyMap
A full-featured minimap and world map for navigation, exploration, waypoints, and general quality of life while playing on the server.
Quality of Livia
Livia's official client-side QoL mod for Livia SMP.
It adds small client-side adjustments that make the game match Livia's modified server behavior more closely. This includes anvil sync, Livia custom enchantment descriptions, Tree Stripper sync, villager trade price sync, pickup filtering, crawling controls, hotbar cycling, and an optional disable-offhand-use toggle.
Server-backed features only activate when connected to Livia SMP.
Client quality of life
The pack includes small usability improvements for everyday play, including searchable controls, longer chat history, chat heads, inventory mouse tweaks, food information, durability display, armor HUD, improved book editing, and enchantment descriptions.
These changes are meant to make the client more comfortable without changing the core vanilla feel.
Performance improvements
A curated Fabric performance stack is included to improve FPS, memory usage, chunk loading, lighting performance, networking, rendering efficiency, and general client smoothness.
This includes mods such as Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, C2ME, ImmediatelyFast, EntityCulling, MoreCulling, Krypton, ScalableLux, Bobby, and other supporting libraries.
Visual polish
The pack includes shader support through Iris, Complementary Reimagined as the included shader pack, dynamic lights, connected texture support, low fire, a dark UI/resource-pack setup, and small visual cleanup mods.
It should feel cleaner and more polished without becoming a heavy gameplay overhaul.
Notes
This modpack is made primarily for Livia SMP.
Most gameplay changes on the server are handled server-side. This pack exists to give players the recommended client setup: voice chat, map tools, performance improvements, visual polish, and Livia-specific client synchronization.

Frequently Asked Questions
Livia Modpack server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Livia Modpack server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Livia Modpack without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Livia Modpack server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
