About this Modpack
Introduction
LokelPack serves a number of different functions, but most of them fall into either performance, QOL, visual, or audio enchancements.
The main goal of this modpack is to make Minecraft as cinematic as possible for the ultimate vanilla+ experience. This is why there will not be any server-side mods nor terrain generation mods. Too Cheap and Chunky are the only exceptions, as they can be removed from a world without corruption.
LokelPack has been made and designed to run on 1.21.5 perfectly, however 1.21.6+ are updated purely to be compatiable with future Minecraft editions. I highly recommend playing this modpack on 1.21.5.
There are plans to backport to all versions of 1.21, and a 1.21.1 version is being looked at.

- Reacharound - Improved block placement.
- Notes - Useful notepad that can be used for marking coords, biomes, creating todo lists, or planing materials.
- ElytraKey - Quick swapping of elytra and chestplate with one single press of a key.
- Xaero's World Map - A huge map of your world updating, can see chunks you explored.
- Reese's Sodium Options - Sleek modern design of the Sodium design.
- Better Statistics Screen - Sleek modern design of the Stats screen and adds a search feature.
- Sodium Extra - Adds more options to sodium, like the disabling of particles.
- Do a Barrel Roll - Cinematic elytra flying sequences and a complete rework of the flight system.

Performance Mods
- Fast IP Ping - makes the Ping lookup faster.
- Chunky - A chunky pregenerator.
- Do not use this with the Distant Horizons distant LOD generator, else you will see generation issues. Turn off the generator in DH and use this, then when Chunky is completed, turn DH back on.
- Sodium - Improves minecraft greatly in general.
- Distant Horizons - allows for one to see huge render distances without blowing up your computer. Is optional.
- Dynamic FPS - Reduces minecraft resource usage when idle.
- Immediately Fast - Improves the immediate mode rendering performance of the client.
- BadOptimizations - General optimization mod.
- Entity Culling - Culls entities.
- Lithium - General minecraft optimization in the same footsteps as Sodium.
- More Culling - Allows culling of more minecraft items and blocks.
- Noisium - Minecraft optimization of chunk generation.
- FerriteCore - Minecraft optimization of memory.
- Concurrent Chunk Management Engine - Minecraft optimization of chunk generation.
Visual Improvements
- Not Enough Animations - Great mod to see new animations of your player model.
- Iris Shaders - Adds support for shaders.
- Xaero's Minimap - I added the mod for waypoints, but I keep the actual minimap off due to me not wanting to edit the UI too much.
- Camera Overhaul - This mod adds realistic camera sway when idling and turning swiftly for that cinematic look.
- Euphoria Patches - Addon for Complementary Unbound to make the game look great.
- Female Gender Mod - Adds breasts to your player model if the gender is selected. There is a option to turn it off (Male), and it's smooth and able to be adjusted real well.
- Blur+ - blurs the screen behind the GUI. (eg. opening inventory, title screen)
- Complementary Shaders - Unbound - The shader for LokelPack, it gives a realistic viewport.
- My main settings are High, a world outline to 3, and IntegratedPBR for materials, with coated textures.
- SPBR - Optional resourcepack that adds PBR ingame, I recommmend using this with Bliss and not Complementary.
- 3D Skin Layers - Adds voxels to minecraft skin, makes things like hair so much better.
- Continuity - A resource pack that adds connected glass textures and others.
- Bobby - An alternative to Distant Horizons, keeps chunks loaded, improves render distance to multiplayer servers.
- Do not enable both mods at the same time.
- Dynamic Elytra FOV - Changes your FOV by a certain amount based on your speed, and it is a great indicator of how fast you're going.
- LambDynamicLights - Adds dynamic lights for handheld items like torches and lanterns.
- Jerm's Better Leaves - Optional, I keep it off, adds bushiness to the leaves.
- Chat Animation - Adds smooth ease when opening the chat.
- Bliss (Distant Horizons Version) - An alternative but popular shader with Distant Horizons, adds that sense of nostalgia and essence that complementary doesn't have.
- I recommend using SPBR with this one.
- First-Person Model - Adds a feature to see your body and skin in first person.
- I recommend dynamic mode set to always. Pairs great with Female Gender Mod and Not Enough Animations + Fresh Moves.
- Fresh Moves (1.21.7+ only) - A resource pack that adds bounce to your player. Is great with multiplayer and adds life to your gameplay.
Audio Improvements
- Sound Physics Remastered - Adds reverb to caves and makes everything so much more immersive.
- AmbientSounds - Adds enviromental sounds to make minecraft feel more alive and inhabited.
- Sounds - Adds sounds for the UI and others.
- Presence Footsteps - Adds a lot of new sounds for stepping on blocks.

Frequently Asked Questions
LokelPack server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a LokelPack server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to LokelPack without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
LokelPack server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
