About this Modpack

Magical Technology :)

A modpack mostly about aesthetics technology (Create and Botania) & exploration & also combat

and maybe bring a friend along the way :)

When progressing through this experience, the progression will jump to doing combat, tech progression of different mods, bossfights, upgrading your armor, and building a nice base. Because of course, no tech mods with magic boxes here!

The entire thing is what came out of the thought of "what if i put exploration and tech modpacks in a blender"

And also more sanboxy stuff too why not

The Twilight Forest (not included, you will have to download it manually)
Create

A mod made for the modpack to tie all the loose ends (by me :)))

How to Set Up a Magical Technology Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Magical Technology). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Magical Technology" and click "Install". The neoforge loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Magical Technology server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong neoforge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Magical Technology server really need?

Can I add custom mods to Magical Technology without conflicts?
