About this Modpack

The official modpack for the MavenCraft Minecraft server, maintained and updated by milkymuzz.

Features

This modpack primarily targets client-side needs relating to content creation through the following means:

Optimization

Live streaming and/or recording while playing Minecraft can have an effect on your device depending on the...specifications of said device. Therefore, some optimizations are included in this modpack. The optimizations in the MavenCraft Modpack primarily targets rendering and memory usage using well-known mods such as Sodium, ImmediatelyFast, FerriteCore, and Entity Culling.
The remaining optimization mods in this modpack target language loading(Language Reload) and reducing resource usage when Minecraft is idle(Dynamic FPS).

Pst! As a small bonus, we also have Fast Better Grass and some Sodium addons like Sodium Extra, Translations for Sodium, and Reese's Sodium Options.

Aesthetics

What's the point of optimization without the ability to make your game look pretty, though? This modpack includes a suite of mods that allow the usage of resource packs that change visual elements such as the skybox(Skyboxify), connected textures(Continuity), fancy entity models and textures(EMF and ETF respectively), how player skins are rendered(3D Skin Layers), shaders(Iris), and bushier leaves(Motschen's Better Leaves).

Client-Server

As for the mods required for both the client and the server for the MavenCraft Minecraft server; We have Camerapture to take pretty photos and Armor Statues to let you manipulate armor stands with a GUI.

In-Game Recording

Record your game with Flashback and enhance the editing experience using Flashback Extras.

MORE!!

You want more? Okay...we'll give you more!
Enjoy breathtaking views without being limited to your own eyes(Freecam). Make those same views go out 100x from your regular render distance without any performance impacts with Bobby! Talk to your friends with Simple Voice Chat. Zoom into landscapes with Zoomify. Enhance your mouse (tweaks) experience. Peek into a shulker box via tooltips. 4K screenshots! Search bar for keybinds! Borderless fullscreen! Mod menu! Chat reporting toggle! There! That's all we have...there is no more.

Questions

What if I want a bare bones version?

We have the Bare Minumum version of the MavenCraft Modpack for that! You can find this in the versions tab :)

Is there a reason to download this modpack beyond MavenCraft?

That's up to individual use cases, but we do have some handy tools in this modpack that can be used for content creation outside of MavenCraft. You could also download this to play the same modpack as your favorite YouTuber on Mavencraft.

Will this recieve any updates?

The only updates the MavenCraft Modpack will recieve will be for Minecraft version updates(such as 26.1.2 -> 26.2) and/or hotfixes that may relate to one or more mods.

Frequently Asked Questions

MavenCraft server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a MavenCraft server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to MavenCraft without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

MavenCraft server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
