Nothing built can last forever.

What initially started out as a simple pack for me and my friends turned into a 70-hour-in-the-making perfect Minecraft Story Mode Pack passion project that lives up to it's name! <3

You won't find another MCSM pack like this! More than just the Wither Storm! With custom made menus and UIs with the help of FancyMenu and it's fanmade addons, to a few tweaked resource/texture packs packs and even a custom-made datapack all included to replicate the Story Mode experience as best as possible!! (And check out the gallery! :D)

FEATURES

UI and Screens

• In-Game GUI that perfectly replicates Story Mode's (hotbar PNGs borrowed by Equinox's pack <3)
• 2 Custom title screens with 90+ splash texts and Essential support
• Custom MCSM boot up screens
• UI hover and click sounds from story mode
• Pause screen with the same fade-in and theme
• Minor tweaks of other screens within settings and title screen
• NOTE: These UIs are built for GUI scale 2 on a 1080p monitor. If you use a bigger monitor or bigger scale, they may look off/break ^^'

GAMEPLAY

• Custom structures, big and small! Plus, the Wither Storm gets distracted by them (which I find really cool xD)
• Immersive combat, with an optional first person model (see gallery!), and a combat roll to match that Story Mode vibe during combat!
• Immersive MC to hit that Story Mode immersion (You can avoid clicking the boxes to use the workstation normally <3)
• You now INSTANTLY teleport to the nether when you step in the portal thanks to Fastest Portals! Saving yourself from the Wither Storm quicker and being accurate to Story Mode!
• Majority of vanilla sounds replaced by Story Mode sounds (Yes, including the "Poof" sound!) thanks to Storify!
• Entire vanilla soundtrack replaced with Story Mode songs, both handpicked by me and from this OST pack!
• Plenty of other minor details and QoL things!

VISUAL TWEAKS

• Several mob's models and animations changed to that of Story Mode's thanks to Story Mode Style!
• Many blocks and items 3d to match Story mode's vibe (Not that performance heavy surprisingly)
• Wither Storm overhaul thanks to VN4's Fresh WS! (NOTE: This pack is very performance heavy in later phases, 4-9 specifically. If you don't want to deal with the lag, disable it, even though that sucks because it's super cool TvT)
• Smooth camera shake when near explosion to match Story Mode!
• Much more overall tweaks and changes, like 3 blocks! (see gallery!)

The Wither Storm has awoken!

With a bit of help (and testing/revising broken code it usually spews out TvT) of Chat-GPT, I was able to make a datapack that:

• Gives the Wither Storm a simple but cool custom intro
• Plays tracks when the Wither Storm is F-Bombed (plays a calming track when it falls to the ground), revived (dramatic variation of the WS theme that plays the moment it wakes up rather than a fade-in from CWSM), and killed (Plays a credits theme: NoMoreCreepers, Vocal Version) for more oomphf and immersion! <3

OTHER THINGS

• Shader support
• Multiplayer support
• VR support
• Plenty of performance mods already pre-configured by me to make the game run as smoothly as I could get it!
• If you're interested, try out V-Sides! It is a mod that adds super cool custom music for the Wither Storm if you want something fresh and new! (Made by my cool friends :D) The mod is installed with this pack, but disabled by default
• Disabled by default, but if you're playing with friends you can enable the Webcam mod if you wanna see your friend's terrified expressions while being pulled by the Wither Storm's tractor beam xD
• I HIGHLY reccomend leaving the memory allocation the way it is (10 GB). Through multiple tests I found this to be a good medium, but every system is different, so adjust according ly if you need to <3

UPCOMING FEATURE(S)

• Story Mode's beautiful gradient clouds (I can't for the life of me find something that works with 1.20.1 forge :< Preferably waiting for a backport from Story Mode Clouds)
• Figure out how to get my custom menus and UI to work on VR properly T^T

I want this to be a pack that can either stand alone for the intended close-MCSM experience, or be edited and added on to your liking! Want Story Mode to have several more biomes, evils or dimensions? Go for it! Edit the pack, and choose your own ADVENTURE!!
