About this Modpack
I am not a programmer and have no experience in creating mods, but I decided to share the modpack that I use to play with my friends.
p.s.
I will add the description, screenshots and settings of some mods later, when I have free time.
Setting up some mods
AudioPlayer

Commands
Run /audioplayer to get general information on how to upload files.
Uploading audio files via URL
Run /audioplayer url "https://example.com/myaudio.mp3" where https://example.com/myaudio.mp3 is the link to your .mp3 or .wav file.
Uploading audio files directly to the server
Copy your .mp3 or .wav file to the audioplayer_uploads folder in your server. Run /audioplayer serverfile "yourfile.mp3" where yourfile.mp3 is the name of the file you put on the server.
Uploading audio files via Filebin
Run /audioplayer filebin and follow the instructions.
Putting custom audio on a music disc
Run /audioplayer musicdisc
Putting custom audio on a goat horn
Run /audioplayer goathorn
Getting the audio from an existing item
Run /audioplayer id and hold a music disc or a goat horn with custom audio in your main hand.
Signed Paintings
Commands:
/paintings:toggle all|banners|shields|signs - toggles rendering for images
/paintings:toggle culling - makes signs visible from further away, at the cost of worse fps - use this mod instead if you want a bit more control over the distance
/paintings:status all|
/paintings:upload
if someone is being annoying, you can stop specific links from rendering:
/paintings:block add
/paintings:block remove all|
/paintings:block list - lists all blocked links
/paintings:block auto - automatically blocks newly loading links
Co-op with voice chat
A quick guide to playing with friends using voice chat.
- Download Radmin VPN from the link.
- In the application, click on "Network", then "Create a network". Come up with a name and password for your network.
- Your friends should join this network.
- If you are a server, copy your IP address to Radmin VPN.
- In your world, click "Open to LAN" (or "Start LAN World").
- Messages will appear in the chat, but you only need the "Port".
- Participants must enter your IP address (point 4) and port (point 6).
Here's how it should look (it will be different for you): 26.60.23.154:51105
Is it done!

How to Set Up a MoreMods... Update Server
Order Server
Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for MoreMods... Update). Based on player count: per 5 players.
Install Modpack in Dashboard
Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "MoreMods... Update" and click "Install". The neoforge loader and Minecraft 1.21.1 are configured automatically.
Start Server & Play
Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!
Frequently Asked Questions
MoreMods... Update server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong neoforge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a MoreMods... Update server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to MoreMods... Update without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (neoforge) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
MoreMods... Update server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
