ABOUT
Nano Sweets is a pretty lightweight modpack that is mostly compiled of datapacks
it was created so that me and my friends can play on a server and i choose the datapacks and the mods to not add any new items or blocks so all 1.21.1 clients can play
this allows every one of your friends to play on your server with this modpack installed
also this modpack is actually pretty much a super lite version of my other modpack "sweetcraft"

IMPORTANT
keep in note there will always be an alpha, beta and full release for each version
alpha - just the mods that focus on the gameplay
beta - mods from alpha along with optimization mods like sodium
full release - all the features from beta along with resource packs and client side mods to enchance visuals drasticly without shaders as keep in mind this modpack is focused on the lite side of modding
in more detail:
alpha versions are just standalone mods for your minecraft server
beta versions give u both optimization and the gameplay mods
full release versions are meant to be played singleplayer and not in multiplayer unless your friends also have downloaded this modpack becouse the full realease has dependencies such as polytone or other resource pack supporting mods so if u have put the full release on ur minecraft server and is wondering why ur vanilla friends cant join then u might havet to download the beta or my highly recomended alpha as it doesnt add anything except for the gameplay datapacks/mods

Frequently Asked Questions
nano sweets server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a nano sweets server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to nano sweets without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
nano sweets server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
