Ocassional Blocktown
A Create-heavy industrial progression pack with Aeronautics, rail logistics, food automation, and late-game Mekanism.
About this Modpack
Ocassional Blocktown is a multiplayer-focused NeoForge 1.21.1 modpack built around Create and the kind of dumb, ambitious group projects that start as a small workshop and end with rail lines, giant factories, sky docks, and a world full of bad decisions.
The pack starts with early Create automation and grows into full industrial progression with trains, heavy engineering, fuel and power systems, food production, airships through Create Aeronautics, and late-game Mekanism. The goal is to keep every phase of the pack fun and relevant instead of letting one mod skip the whole experience.
World generation is built to support exploration and infrastructure. Terrain, villages, structures, and travel all matter, so building railways, carving routes through mountains, and eventually taking to the skies feels earned. The pack is designed for co-op play, shared bases, expansion projects, and the usual friend-group chaos.
Expect:
Create-focused automation and factory building
Rail logistics and large infrastructure projects
Airships and flight progression
Food and farming expansion
Heavy industry with Immersive Engineering
Late-game Mekanism scaling
Strong worldgen, structures, and exploration
Multiplayer-friendly quality of life features
Ocassional Blocktown is meant to feel creative, social, and a little unhinged: a pack for building something huge with friends, getting distracted constantly, and somehow ending up with a functioning industrial empire anyway.

With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Ocassional Blocktown server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Ocassional Blocktown without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (neoforge) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
