About this Modpack
This is a simple modpack, designed to play with friends of different levels of computing power and familiarity with Minecraft. Named after the famous phrase, Oysterous invites people to make the world a pearl!
Oysterous is equipped with a range of quality-of-life mods that are focused on creating a Vanilla experience that just goes a little bit more in providing being intuitive and exciting. Mods such as Basic Weapons and Bronze introduce extra options when it comes to gameplay, while Farmer's Delight and its add-ons are here to expand Minecraft's agricultural options. Amendments, Arts & Crafts, Unusual Furniture, and Another Furniture are all here to elevate the game's aesthetic and decor. Sodium, it's addons, Noisium, and more ensure that the gameplay runs smoothly and efficiently.
Meanwhile, a range of world generation mods Ecologics and Block Factory's Biomes are meant to expand the world in a way not unlike the base game's updates. For the Nether and End, there are Incendium and Enderscape respectively. Backports of the Chase the Skies (Happy Ghasts) and Spring to Life updates are implemented to achieve a similar affect.
Oysterous, however, does take its own spin of magic with mods such as Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks and Enhanced: Witchcraft. Mods such as Creeper, Enderman, and Golem Overhaul add to the iconic roster of mobs.
Explore all these mods and more in a familiar, yet novel Minecraft experience.
This modpack is meant to be played with friends, but it works for singleplayer!
That said, bugs are still being addressed as we encounter them. For example, this modpack originally featured Fabric mods via Sinytra Connector, but extended loading times and incompatibilities between a few mods led this to becoming a NeoForge-only modpack.

With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Oysterous server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Oysterous without conflicts?
