About this Modpack
Hey, its EmoAce here. As you can see, Parity has been Archived.
I wanted to say, thank you for all the support recieved from Parity and Parity 2. Its blown me away that so many people were willing to download and try out my little modpack. I thank you all, each and every one of you. This has been my passion project for a little over a year now, but its time to retire it. The project is MIT licensed if you want to pick up development yourself or use any of the assets I have created for it.
I made this decision because in all honesty, I've been outcompeted. In the past few months, a modpack called "Raspberry Flavored" has gained immense popularity. And honestly, its everything and more that I wanted Parity to be. I highly reccomend playing it if you haven't already. Its not quite Parity in the sense that there are some design choices not seen in Parity, like a removed End Dimension and such, but it captures the spirit of Parity better than I could ever. I'm just one dude trying to make a modpack, meanwhile Raspberry Flavored is an entire team, I simply can't compete with that in the field of making a Vanilla+ pack.
That being said, I will be shifting focus to working on my other pack, Hexxed (soon to be renamed to "Branded") But also, I will be making a private, "forever world" SMP based off of Parity with a few friends called "Eternacraft" which you can watch on my YouTube come the beginning of Summer.
Thank you again for all your support with Parity, and if you are still reading this, I implore you, try to spend some time with those you love today or this week. I've spent too much time looking at a screen this past year making this pack, its time for me to touch grass.

An Objectively Good Vanilla+ Modpack. No, really.
Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to make a Minecraft modpack that defied expectations, a true experience. As I grew older, I realized that I didn't have to overhaul Minecraft as a whole with tech and magic mods, that most people played Minecraft becuase of its charm. I wanted to keep that charm when I built this modpack, and bring something that could be worthy of the title "Vanilla+".
I believe most Vanilla+ modpacks nowadays are just glorified Kitchen Sink modpacks, that they stray too far from the charm of Vanilla that they feel too modded, I wanted to avoid that with Parity, while still overhauling or expanding the magic that Minecraft already has.
I love this game, and I wanted that to come through in this love letter to the community, both those who play vanilla and those who play and make mods.
This is a Vanilla+ Modpack like no other, this is Parity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Parity server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Parity server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Parity without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (forge) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Parity server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
