About this Modpack

"We're back! What's your name, new modpack?"

  • "Ponder Legacy."

"Thank you! Thank you!! Ponder Legacy has freed us!"

  • "Ohhh, I wouldn't say free."

"More like under a new developer."

What is Ponder Legacy about?

Ponder Legacy (As a Modpack) is a continuation of Create: Ponder by Haz.

The key focuses from the original remain centered on performance and the Create Mod.

Where I deviate from the original is in its main indirect changes to progression, polish, and general integration.

  • There are no unnecessary changes to recipes to confuse you, instead, all the original recipes are indirectly changed via the surrounding environment.

  • Instead of playing in one centralized location like in the original Create Mod, you are heavily encouraged to spread around and build outposts for specific resources, mobs, and points of interest.

  • Enjoy all the popular add-ons for Create available on Fabric. All integrated together!

  • Not just addons, even anything that fits Create (In my opinion), for example like: Spelunkery!
Integrated to make the ore processing systems even more interesting with Create..

  • The main difficulty is not in the actual recipes. It's in the logistics surrounding them.

  • Completing the End Portal is trickier than: Get Blaze rods, Ender Pearls, and you're done.
Here, you have to use the contents from every single mod to complete each eye. You can not find them, only craft them one by one. And what's the reward for getting access to The End? You will have to find out yourself.

So.. If you enjoyed logistics in other packs and wished there was more focus on that. (Like me)

This pack is for you!

What is this really about?

This pack is primarily for the members of Ponder Legacy...Even if it's intended for them, that does not mean you can't play it yourself!

You will just have to deal with crippling loneliness..

Don't wanna do that? Why not join?

Frequently Asked Questions

Ponder Legacy server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Ponder Legacy server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Ponder Legacy without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Ponder Legacy server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
