About this Modpack
Not for low end hardware!
Server side version will have full compatibility with the client version. Alternativly, you can host with from the client and all features will still work.
Prismatic is a Fabric modpack built around making Minecraft look, sound, and play in a way that makes it exciting again.
Terralith, Tectonic, Incendium, and Nullscape overhaul terrain across all
three dimensions. Dungeons and Taverns adds strucutres. Voxy pushes your view distance way out. Eclipse shader ties it all together visually. Everything is vanilla blocks with animated and upgraded visuals.
I've done my best to optimize but visuals come first. Disable shaders if your game is stuttering. I would recommend giving Minecraft 6+ Gbs of RAM for this one.
Waystones are included for fast travel, and a handful of extra enchantments
round things out.
Eclipse Shader (not bundled) — install it separately:

The config is included, so it'll work out of the box once you drop it in your
shaderpacks folder.
Don't use this for worlds you care a lot about
I can't promise this won't break at some point. Especially when updating between versions. Once you make a world in one version of this pack do not move it to another version. Things have a high chance of breaking. Back up your worlds often like any sane person would.

Frequently Asked Questions
Prismatic server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Prismatic server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Prismatic without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.11). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Prismatic server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
