Purely Optimised
A optimisation pack that gives a multitude of features along with better performance than vanilla
About this Modpack
An always evolving optimization modpack built to increase game smoothness while also giving QoL features.
Purely Optimised is not quite a pure optimisation mod
I created this pack to use on my computer, trying to get usable frames while recording. It expanded from there.
- Need a map? We have Xaero's map and minimap.
- Want your game to look brilliant? Continuity and Iris ensure that you will experience the best views you can get, and bobby means that you can see much farther than you normally could on a server.
- Playing on a server with prox chat? Purely has simple prox chat installed already, so you can easily join in with the fun. Assuming the server uses simple prox chat
- Running on a slow computer? This pack was made for that. While it may be slower than some other packs out there, it at least doubles frames while in incredibly laggy situations.
- Creating content? Purely comes by default with Replay Mod, allowing you to save and easier create videos.
- Replay mod records by default, and will ask if you want to save after the session. This can be changed in the configs.
Note: The preset config of Litematica uses Numpad keys. If you do not have a 100% keyboard you will need to change the configs for this mod, or delete the preset from YOSBR before first launch

Frequently Asked Questions
Purely Optimised server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Purely Optimised server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Purely Optimised without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Purely Optimised server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
