About this Modpack

This is the QoL Primer Pack!

It's primary use is to serve as a base for aspiring modpack developers that just need a little base to get started. I myself needed this just to screw around with some mods without having to spend an hour just getting my basics in.

Almost no content mods are added, and everything in this pack is to help enhance the modded experience. In case you use this to publish your own pack, you need to give proper credit, including a link to this modrinth page. I really hope you enjoy it! :D

How to Set Up a QoL Primer Server

Order Server

Choose at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended for QoL Primer). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "QoL Primer" and click "Install". The forge loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

QoL Primer server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. How much RAM does a QoL Primer server really need?
