Quality of FPS
Do you want FPS and QOL all in one modpack? Then this is for you!
About this Modpack
Quality of FPS is a lightweight, client-side modpack designed to significantly improve both performance and overall gameplay experience while staying true to vanilla Minecraft. It combines powerful FPS-boosting mods with genuinely useful quality-of-life features, creating a smoother, faster, and more convenient way to play. At its core, the pack focuses heavily on real performance improvements using proven optimization mods like Sodium, which completely replaces Minecraft’s rendering engine to deliver massive FPS gains and smoother visuals, Lithium, which optimizes game logic, physics, and AI to improve tick performance and reduce lag, FerriteCore, which lowers memory usage to prevent stuttering and improve stability—especially on lower-end systems, C2ME, which enhances chunk loading and generation by utilizing multi-threading to significantly reduce world loading times and improve overall performance, and ImmediatelyFast, which accelerates rendering and UI performance to make menus and in-game visuals feel much more responsive.
Beyond these core mods, Quality of FPS includes additional performance enhancements such as EntityCulling and MoreCulling, which intelligently stop rendering entities and blocks that aren’t visible to the player, reducing GPU load and boosting frame rates even further. These mods work together to ensure consistent performance, faster chunk rendering, and a much smoother gameplay experience overall, even in demanding situations like large builds or multiplayer servers.
What truly makes Quality of FPS stand out is its strong focus on quality-of-life improvements that enhance everyday gameplay without overcomplicating things. Mods like ViaFabricPlus allow you to join servers across multiple Minecraft versions, giving you much more freedom in multiplayer without needing to constantly switch versions. Mod Menu makes it easy to view and configure your mods in-game, while Reese’s Sodium Options expands video settings for better control and customization. Additional QoL mods like DynamicFPS help reduce resource usage when the game is unfocused, and FastQuit speeds up the process of exiting worlds or servers, making the game feel faster and more responsive overall. These improvements work together to remove small but noticeable annoyances, making Minecraft feel more modern and user-friendly.
The combination of these powerful FPS mods and practical QoL features results in a clean, efficient, and highly playable experience where the game not only runs significantly better but also feels smoother and easier to use. Quality of FPS is perfect for players who want higher performance, cross-version compatibility, and meaningful quality-of-life enhancements—all in one simple, vanilla-friendly modpack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quality of FPS server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Quality of FPS server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Quality of FPS without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Quality of FPS server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
