About this Modpack

Quietly Better

Minecraft — refined, optimized, and polished without changing its core identity.

Quietly Better is a high-performance Vanilla+ Fabric modpack for 1.21.11 designed to enhance immersion, improve responsiveness, and modernize the experience — while keeping gameplay progression completely intact.

No overhaul.
No tech trees.
No new dimensions.
Just Minecraft — running at its best.

Core Philosophy

This pack focuses on three pillars:

• Performance
• Immersion
• Quality of Life

Everything included serves one of those purposes.
If it doesn’t improve the experience, it doesn’t stay.

Performance & Optimization

Built on a carefully selected optimization stack including Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, C2ME, Krypton, VMP, MoreCulling, EntityCulling, ImmediatelyFast, and more.

What this means for you:

• Stable 50-60+ FPS on mid-range systems(Vsyn - ON)
• Stable 140 - 200 + FPS on mid-range systems (V syn - OFF)
• Reduced memory usage
• Faster chunk loading
• Smoother entity processing
• Improved networking performance
• Less stuttering and micro-freezes

This is not a random pile of optimization mods — it’s a tested, compatible stack.

Visual & Rendering Improvements

Minecraft still looks like Minecraft — just cleaner.

• Iris shader support
• Better biome blending
• Dynamic lighting
• Subtle particle and environmental effects
• Improved clouds and sky visuals

Frequently Asked Questions

Quietly Better server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Quietly Better server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to Quietly Better without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.11). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Quietly Better server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
