About this Modpack

What is this?

I realized I don't have anything to do for relaxation that I can just turn my brain off, so I downloaded Quantum Freedom and added some extra mods. Doing that ended up breaking it, so I mulled over the mod list and added the fun ones, along with some extras.

Also, the pack icon is a 64x64 picture of a creature called an Olm. They're neat.

The content

It's very kitchen sink, but I have a few things that were higher priority:

Exploration

I added as many mods for new biomes and structures as I could find. All of YUNG's things are here, along with BetterNether and BetterEnd, Biome Makeover, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Promenade, Mo' Structures, Traverse, and so many more.

Tech

There's Tech Reborn and its addons, Industrial Revolution, Modern Industrialization, Space Factory, Create and its addons, and Ad Astra. Also AE2, for storage, plus Modern Dynamics for extra transport options.

Origins

There's the mod itself, as well as Origins++, Extra Origins, Mob Origins, and Origins: Umbrella. As well as this, there's a mod for create compatibility so if you wanna make a datapack based origin with that, you can.

A pinch of magic

There's botania (and AE2 integration with botania), Spectrum, Miskatonic Mysteries, Arcanus, and Hex Casting.

Programming

There's not just ComputerCraft:Restitched with compatibilities, but also a Zachtronics inspired one called TIS-3D. I would've added a bunch of compatibility mods for it if they weren't forge exclusive.

Multiplayer focused things

There's Simple Voice Chat and Claims, but Voice Chat also affects the world so watch out.

QOL

We've got Xaero's Minimap and Worldmap, EMI with plenty of compatibility plugins, Appleskin, Effective, and plenty more.

Fun Little Additions

There's bombs via Blast, frogs from Pick Your Poison, and some other little additions.

And Much More!

The above list wasn't really exhaustive, but this pack has both an up to date Packwiz-based git repo and an old Moddermore page.

!!!WARNING!!!

For some reason, it doesn't work on servers easily. I have no clue why. I want to get that fixed, but I'm tired as hell all the dang time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Relax Pack server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong quilt loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Relax Pack server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to Relax Pack without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (quilt) and same Minecraft version (1.19.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Relax Pack server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
