Main Features
UI&HUD
This modpack lets you browse items and recipes on any world/server, even when the server itself does not have a recipe viewing mod installed, so crafting information remains available wherever you play. This matters on modern mc versions because the client no longer receives the full server recipe list by default, which can leave client-side recipe viewers with unusable recipe pages unless the server also provides recipe data.
It also displays the durability of your armor, held items, weapons, and tools, adds block and entity tooltips, hunger and saturation values, effect timers, an expanded statistics screen, and configurable tech overlays for world data directly in game, including coordinates, light levels, biome info, facing direction, structure boxes, and other useful data without needing to open a separate menu like F3.
Building and Utility Tools
The pack adds practical tools for building and client customization. It includes configurable zoom, accurate block placement, schematic previews for your builds, faster crafting controls, hotkey based brightness control, 2160p screenshot support even if you don't have a 4K screen, faster language switching, and cleaner access to settings and mod configs.
Maps and Navigation
Exploration is easier with an on screen minimap, a full screen self updating world map, waypoint management, deathpoints, explored area tracking, cave and terrain display options, and map integration that helps keep marked locations visible while travelling.
Chat and multiplayer QoL
The pack supports voice chat when the server is configured for it, shows player heads next to chat messages, keeps a much longer chat history, saves your typed chat messages between game sessions: usually, pressing the Up Arrow in chat brings back messages you typed earlier, but vanilla only keeps them within the current game session. More Chat History fixes this by keeping your chat inputs saved even after restarting the game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Renice Cubed server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Renice Cubed server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Renice Cubed without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Renice Cubed server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
