About this Modpack
A simple modpack for you to enjoy :3
This is a fully client-side, vanilla-like modpack, with Complementary Shaders + Euphoria Patches, full of QoL and optimization mods. That's my new way to play Minecraft.
Performance Mods
My modpack includes optimization mods like Sodium, Lithium, and Chunky to make the game run smoothly on any system.
Visuals
The modpack does not contain any resource packs, but it includes Complementary Shaders with Euphoria Patches for a stunning gameplay, or Miniature Shader for a simpler and lighter look. Also, you can always disable shaders in-game if you prefer.
LODs
Distant Horizons is included in the modpack! You can enjoy a massive render distance boost via LOD (Level of Detail) chunks—without hurting performance too much.
Compatibility
This modpack is fully client-side, so don't worry about multiplayer or servers—you're good to go!
Vanilla-Like
I don't like straying too far from the "Minecrafty" feel, so the mods are vanilla-like—enhancing your experience without taking away the original vibe :3
QoL Features
Most of the included non-optimization mods are QoL (Quality of Life) improvements/features. They enhance comfort and usability without drastically changing the core gameplay. (All of them run on client-side)
You can always check the mod list on the versions details page. Feel free to download the modpack and tweak it to fit your playstyle!
Thank you for playing with my Vanilla Modpack. Have a great time doing so! :3

Frequently Asked Questions
Richard's Vanilla server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Richard's Vanilla server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Richard's Vanilla without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.11). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Richard's Vanilla server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
