🔧 Manual Tweaks

Depending on your setup, various mods and resource packs can be disabled to further improve performance. Below is a list of common adjustments, ordered by their impact on performance:

  • (🔺High) Distant Horizons's rendering can be disabled or tuned down to reduce CPU load. Alternatively, leave it running while AFK to pre-generate all LODs.
  • (🔺High) Iris Shader are GPU-intensive and disabled by default. Some shaders may also have compatibility issues with other resources.
  • (🔸Medium) Fresh Animations may cause stuttering on low-end PCs when many mobs are on screen; disable if necessary.
  • (🔹Low) Flashback Recording can be resource-heavy during long sessions; disable if you're not using it frequently.
