Create: Scoundrels & Squeakers aims to be the combination between the typical Vanilla+ modpacks and Create Challenge packs such as Create: Above & Beyond.

Expanding the game without feeling too far out of the original scope is the aim of the Vanilla+ genre. Scoundrels and Squeakers features many mods with this aim, each individually curated and configured to fit within the vision of the pack, like Backpacked, a storage mod with GUIs, models, and textures that fit within the style of the base game

The main goal of the pack is to progress through the Create mod, climbing higher and higher in the tech tree by automating parts many parts of the mod. Included in the pack is a series of quests which optionally show you one of the multiple routes you can take to reach these ends, it's up to you whether you choose to follow the provided path or pave your own way to the end

Good Ol' Game Feel

The pack has been designed in a way to make it feel like one cohesive whole that might feel like an expansion to the game rather than a thrown together jumble of mods. Scoundrels & Squeakers also aims to appeal to a lot of different kinds of players, building blocks for the Builders, structures and loot for the explorers, even new food for the farmers!

A Cohesive Whole

Many modpacks suffer from a rift between mods, where a lot of it's items, blocks, and other content is entirely separated from everything else, or there are multiple redundant kinds of a single item. To avoid this feeling Scoundrels and Squeakers features many recipe changes that encourage exploration between mods, and removing any redundant content, because who really needs 4 different kinds of rope?

Scoundrels? Squeakers?

The name of the pack refers to the Origins you can choose from within the pack, a lot of them being monsterous or diminutive!

A Core of Create

Create is at the center of Scoundrels & Squeakers, many mods require you progress through Create to access them, but there are plenty of 'distractions' along the way, to vary up your playstyle and keep the burnout at bay.

What was that about Distractions?

The pack features a set of challenges and a rumour system inspired by Crucial 2's Gossip system!

Challenges

Ranging from quotas that put your production to the test to restrictions on what you can and can't use, Scoundrels and Squeakers offers a list of additional goals for players to sink their teeth into!
Each challenge also comes with a trophy, some examples of which can be seen in the gallery

Rumours

Small notes hinting at content in the pack, rumours are a fun way for players to discover content they might overwise miss!
Rumours are unlocked the further into the modpack you are, this way you get a chance at finding them all without getting overwhelmed
