Season 9 Recommended Mods by r/Hermitcraft
Lots of people have had trouble with the Hermitcraft Season 9 world download and getting the mods installed. Here's a fan-made modpack with everything you need to get started.
About this Modpack
If you're not familiar with modded Minecraft, it can be a bit of a faff to get all the right mods and config files installed to be able to use the Hermitcraft Season 9 world download, so this pack has everything you should need to get everything working.
The mods included are:
- Carpet v1.4.112 (for spawning a fake player to load the map at Decked Out 2)
- Simple Voice Chat v2.4.25 (needed for the AudioPlayer mod)
- AudioPlayer v1.7.1 (for the custom music discs and goat horns to work)
- Lithium v0.11.2 (to improve performance)
These are at specific versions (the same versions that were used on the Hermitcraft server itself) to ensure compatibility with the world download.
The config files that were distributed by the r/Hermitcraft subreddit is also included. These config files contain the same server settings that were used on Hermitcraft (provided thanks to one of Xisuma's admin team) so the "announcement mode" discs used in Decked Out 2 should work correctly from the start.
This pack is entirely unofficial, created by fans at the r/Hermitcraft subreddit just to help ease the pain of getting this set up, so you can get playing Decked Out 2 much quicker!
