This modpack is a well curated collection of Fabric 1.21.1 mods that is aimed at an enhanced vanilla-like experience for multiplayer servers. The Shacknews Modpack brings a slew of performance optimization mods, Decoration mods, QoL mods, Tech/Storage mods and a few other tweaks to improve the multiplayer experience. If your looking for a Vanilla++ SMP experience, you found the right mod pack.

This modpack is used on the Shacknews Community SMP server, but is a great pack for any SMP that's looking for something that gives some nice enhancements to the vanilla experience.

How to Set Up a Shacknews Modpack Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Shacknews Modpack). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Shacknews Modpack" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.21.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!
