About this Modpack

This is a vanilla-style Minecraft modpack that doesn’t turn into a random mod dump.

Just give it a try — you won’t regret it.

🌍 What to expect in this pack:

  1. A beautifully reimagined world, perfectly complemented by the Photon shaders.
  2. A moderate number of new structures, all fully in the vanilla style.
  3. Plenty of quality of life mods that make Minecraft feel smoother and more modern.
  4. Most in-game sounds have been completely reworked, with many new ambient effects. Minecraft will sound fresh and immersive.
  5. Fully functional multiplayer — you can play with friends using the built-in Essentials mod.
  6. And of course, optimization: I’ve done my best to make the pack run as efficiently as possible. However, if you’re playing with shaders, keep in mind that this pack is still intended for powerful PCs.

🛠 Recommended Settings:

  1. 8–10 GB of RAM is recommended for the best experience.
  2. The pack was designed specifically for Photon shaders. I can’t guarantee stable performance with other shader packs. Photon perfectly preserves the pack’s atmosphere and tone, so I strongly recommend keeping them enabled.

💬 Words from the author:

“My friends and I got tired of playing vanilla Minecraft. We wanted something new, but without complicated mods — something that still kept the original Minecraft vibe. We searched online for vanilla-style modpacks, but after a while, we couldn’t find a single pack that truly felt like vanilla Minecraft, just improved — without unnecessary clutter.
So I decided to make my own. We ended up playing it for several weeks, and surprisingly, everyone loved it so much that they convinced me to release it publicly.
And here it is now. Enjoy the game!”

Frequently Asked Questions

simple vanilla server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a simple vanilla server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to simple vanilla without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

simple vanilla server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
