About this Modpack

Simply Reoptimized

The creator of Simply Optimized has archied their pack, so I decided to see how well I can continue SO with my own twists and changes to it.

Current for 1.21.11
I'll eventually work on backporting this pack to earlier versions, starting with notable versions and working my way through it.

Why SRO?

Simply Reoptimized is made to help make Minecraft playable and not a huge lagfest.
There are many modpacks out there that optimize the game but they might add some features that might not be needed.

Are there shader support?

Unlike the original SO modpack, I added Iris Shaders in the pack so you can easily use your favorite shaders.

Can I play this on servers?

I am mainly focusing on optimization mods, and a couple QOL mods that don't hurt performance and are perfectly usable on multiplayer servers.

What mod loader is this?

Fabric - Since as far as I'm aware it's the most optimized mod loader.

Will it actually improve my FPS?

It should! My system is more lower end and I get up to 300FPS at 16 chunks.

How to Set Up a Pixel's Simply Reoptimized Server

Order Server

Choose at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended for Pixel's Simply Reoptimized). Based on player count: per 8 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Pixel's Simply Reoptimized" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 26.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!
