About this Modpack
Optimizing mod pack for servers with mods
This mod was created in order to download it as a basis for any mod server in order to optimize it.
The basis is the fabric version of the mod, but I am also building a quilt assembly, which has most of the mods from the fabric version + additionally quilt mods that are not in the fabric. There is also a multithreading mod in the fabric version, and there is no such mod in the quilt version, perhaps because quilt itself splits minecraft into threads, but I'm not sure about that, so if you don't understand quilt, it's better to download the fabric version for fabric servers with mods.
Why is this mod pack, and not the others?
This mod pack is the most optimized compared to other mod packs that I found on modrinth, and I'm also more confident in this modpack than in others and I understand why what mod is needed here, there are no extra mods or optimizing the same things.
Aspects that the mod pack optimizes:
- Splitting one thread into several separate ones to offload the processor
- Optimization of entities and their visibility
- Fixing some bugs
- Optimization of RAM
- Optimizing Experience Entities
- Light optimization (before 1.20 version of minecraft, after 1.20 mojang has already optimized the light)

Frequently Asked Questions
Server-Side Optimized [SSO] server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong quilt loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Server-Side Optimized [SSO] server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Server-Side Optimized [SSO] without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (quilt) and same Minecraft version (1.21). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Server-Side Optimized [SSO] server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
