About this Modpack
This is a modpack based on the Parzi's Star Wars:Galaxies mod, with some additions to make it more playable in survival.
It has some server-bandwidth-heavy mods like Simple Speech, and is intended for small groups of friends. If you're after a version for a large server please consider PSWG Community Adventures instead, as it's better configured for that kind of thing than this collection.
Custom recipes are added to allow easy crafting of vehicles and lightsabers, a very lightweight shader setup is included for low powered computers. Additional recipes to allow creation of the Star Wars specific resources are also included.
/sethome and /home commands are available for players to teleport home, as well as /tpa to teleport to each other, by default Z toggles firemode on blasters or turns lightsabers on and off (you can still slap things with the lightsaber when it's off, if you like, but that won't have much effect beyond being quite annoying indeed). K lets you choose a species from Star Wars and clothing if you'd rather than than your minecraft character (finally you can be a Wookiee, raaaaaarghhh!). V lets you configure the voice-chat, with C being the default for push-to-talk and M to mute your microphone. U opens the menu for setting waypoints, so you can find your way back to villages or the Star Wars structures that spawn (where you'll find blueprints to make certain armours and weapons at the fabricator, and where you can often find tables to customize your lightsaber or blasters).

Frequently Asked Questions
Star Wars Coop server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Star Wars Coop server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Star Wars Coop without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Star Wars Coop server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
