FAQ

Why doesn't Lan play work?

I am not entirely sure, but I suggest installing a dedicated server on one of your devices and run that instead of using Lan play

My server crashed while loading

Most likely either a client side mod or the wrong version of a mod caused the issue. Check the logs for any crash errors. The logs normally say which mod(s) are causing the issue. Also, make sure that you are using the server version of the pack

Why isn't Simple Voice Chat working?

Simple Voice Chat has a config file that needs to be configured based on what you are using to host your server. Read this wiki for more information https://modrepo.de/minecraft/voicechat/wiki/server_setup

What is the mod Steel Armor Blocks Recipes The Factory Must Grow?

Not sure why its named this when previewing the mod through Prism Launcher (might effect other launchers), but that is Ad Astra Oil Well Yeeter

Changes From Vanilla Some basic functionalities have been changed from vanilla. This is either from a mod or from me
  • Generation: Geophilic, Jaden's Nether Expansion, and about four different mods for the End change the generation
  • Structures: Yung's Better X mods improve many of the vanilla structures, Biome Makover and Savage and Ravage improve the Illager structures
  • Textures: Jaden's Nether Expansion changes many textures that appear in the nether
  • Basic Gear: To make Tinkers Construct more useful in the early game, wooden, stone, and iron tools have their crafting recipes disabled
  • Food/Health: Spice of Life: Apple Pie Addition changes food to have a diversity value, making eating a variaty of food better than just a singular type of food
  • Bosses: Complete rewrite of Ender Dragon and Wither (from two seperate mods)
  • Eyes of Ender: can be used in The End to find End Cities.
  • Wheat: Most recipes that used wheat now require dough. This does not effect recipes that should use wheat, like haybales (though that would be kind of funny)
  • Bonemeal: Now applies to more vanilla crops, like sugar cane and lily pads

Of course, there are plenty of mods that add a lot of other content, these are just the changes from vanilla

Frequently Asked Questions

Terraformed Circuitry server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Terraformed Circuitry server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Terraformed Circuitry without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (forge) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Terraformed Circuitry server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
