About this Modpack

This is a small modpack I designed for a Minecraft Space Race event I am hosting for my friends.

The pack has slightly modified progression, up until reaching the Moon. Nothing past that point has been modified.
The main content is the Ad Astra mod, with a few extra mods for quality of life, such as Better Furnaces Reforged, Fabric Hammers, Nature's Compass, and Traveler's Backpack.

This modpack also contains an informational questline for those unfamiliar with Ad Astra. However, this is through FTB Quests, which is not available on Modrinth. FTB Library, Teams, and Quests are not required to play the pack, however, if you would like them you will need to download them on your own. If you find it easier, there is a prompt in game with buttons leading to the Curseforge pages to these mods for easy download.

How to Set Up a Tony's Space Race Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Tony's Space Race). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Tony's Space Race" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match.
