About this Modpack
Welcome!

Description
True Trailers is a project that aims to add more visual effects and mods that add life to the game! The project revolves around the feel of the original Minecraft Trailers (for their new updates, not for the movie!), so it focuses more on improving ideas shown in trailers into the base game instead of adding entirely new concepts.
The Modpack uses the simplistic artstyle of those trailers in the form of resourcepacks like Bare Bones! Simplicity is key for this modpack, so mods that add new forms of gameplay are kept to a minimum to allow for an almost entirely Vanilla experience!
Questions?
Why Can't I Turn Off The Stupid Resourcepacks?
The modpack focuses heavily on the bare bones part of the game trailers so resourcepacks arent easily configurable to turn on and off yet.. sorry!
I'm thinking about making GUIs toggleable for dark and light modes though..
I'm Experiencing Issues!
I'll probably end up fixing it in a future update but if i don't i might end up making some kind of discord for those things but for now you can just dm me. Try reopening the modpack maybe?
I Have A Different Question!
I might eventually open a discord for questions if this modpack needs it but until then either dm me or find a different way to solve it i guess..Lastly, Enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions
True: Trailers server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a True: Trailers server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to True: Trailers without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.8). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
True: Trailers server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
