About this Modpack

Welcome to Ultimate Sniffer! This is a 1.20.1 expansion modpack that builds on features related to the Sniffer. This includes new behaviors for the Sniffer himself; several new plants for him to dig up, including a new forest; and a brand new cave biome, which houses all of these wonders. Come in and explore!

-Sniffers now can be saddled and ridden.
-Sniffers can now have chests equipped.
-Sniffers with equipped chests will place dug up seeds in their chest.
-Sniffers can be given an Ominous Banner to carry you to the nearest Outpost.
-Several new plants including Ivy, Stone Pine Trees, and Fiddleferns.
-Torchflowers now emit light.
-New cave biome, the Timeless Grotto.
-Sniffers will now be covered in snow during the Snowstorm.
-Sniffer texture changes depending on biome.
-Sniffers can now repeatedly dig up seeds in the same block.
-Sniffers will appear naturally in villages.
-Increases the variety of loot you can find beyond the current flowers.
-Adds cooler moves to the Sniffer and the player.

How to Set Up a Ultimate Sniffers Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Ultimate Sniffers). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Ultimate Sniffers" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Ultimate Sniffers server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Ultimate Sniffers server really need?
