About this Modpack

Uton — Pure Performance, Zero Compromise

Uton is an optimization modpack with one goal: maximum FPS without touching vanilla.
No visual changes. No broken mechanics. Just a faster, smoother Minecraft.

🎯 What makes Uton different?

Most optimization packs either change how the game looks, break vanilla behavior, or only support one mod loader. Uton does none of that.

  • ✅ Vanilla graphics preserved — no downgraded textures or lighting
  • ✅ Vanilla logic untouched — redstone, mobs, and mechanics work exactly as Mojang intended
  • ✅ 100+ releases of testing for stable frametimes and minimal micro-stutters
  • ✅ No extra features — just pure optimization, nothing more

🗂️ Supported Minecraft Versions

Supports a wide range of Minecraft versions — from 1.7.10 to 1.21.x, including key releases such as 1.12.2, 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, and the latest 1.21.x versions.

🏗️ Pack Architecture

Uton is not just a collection of mods thrown together. Every version is built on a defined architecture — a carefully selected and tested set of mods that work together as a system.

Architecture Versions Description
LPA-1 1.7.10, 1.8.9, 1.12.2 Legacy Pack Architecture. Built for old Forge environments where modern optimization mods don't exist. Stable enough for daily use.
MPA-3 1.16.5–1.21.11 Mod Pack Architecture. Modern optimization — Sodium, Lithium, and compatible companions. Covers a wide range of versions with consistent performance.
MPA-4 1.20.1–1.21.11, 26.x Current generation architecture. Expanded mod selection including newer discoveries like Noisium and Signs Faster. More powerful optimization than MPA-3 with better balanced FPS. Replaces MPA-3 on supported versions.

Each architecture is independently tested. Updating Uton to the latest release for your version and loader is always recommended to get the current architecture.

⚠️ This project is changing the plans for the "MPA-4" architecture. Uton will now have additional features similar to FO or Optifine, and the default features will not impact performance! Changes took effect in version "Uton 1.4.0 for Minecraft 26.1.2 Fabric/Quilt".

Frequently Asked Questions

Uton Optimizator server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong quilt loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Uton Optimizator server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to Uton Optimizator without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (quilt) and same Minecraft version (26.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Uton Optimizator server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
