About this Modpack

NVIDIA GPUs only!
Uses NVidium.

Only client-side mods to improve the overall performance of Minecraft. Includes my personal VanillaTweaks Texture Pack and the Complementary Unbound Shaders.

You can play on Vanilla or Non-Modded servers with this mod pack.
This mod pack is meant to be a clientside performance-enhancing mod pack while using mods to better the look and feel of Minecraft, especially through its GUI and HUD while keeping the appeal of Minecraft itself.

Performance:
This mod pack uses commonly seen mods, such as Sodium, Sodium Extra, Lithium, BetterBeds, NVidium, and so on. Additionally, other mods, such as LazyDFU and LanguageReload, alongside others, help to bolster the background performance and loading times of Minecraft. Moreover, this mod pack includes Faster Loading and Ksyxis to further improve world loading and generation times.

GUI and HUD aesthetic:
Here, mods such as AutoHUD, SmoothGUI, and Dark Loading Times, alongside others give a better UI experience as a whole. Some other mods are utilized as well, such as InvMove, Blur, and Advancement Plaque, with more, to give other aesthetic and quality-of-life changes.

Quality of Life:
Crutch mods that improve the Minecraft experience, such as AuthMe, Better Mount HUD + Better Boat HUD, and Crafting Tweaks are used to improve on basic aspects of the game. Some less commonly seen mods used as well are Explosive Enhancement, Longer Chat History, OptiGUI, and a handful of other mods that help to bring a better appearance and function from the famous mod Optifine, making it easier for previous Optifine users to adapt to Fabric's beloved Sodium.

Bugfixes:
And alas, mods used here for those pesky errors and bugs are Debugify, Carpet, Not Enough Crashes, Title Fixer, Spark, and a smaller other count of mods that help to deal with the rather irritating Vanilla experience that comes from lacking these critical mods.

Uses InvMove and JourneyMap, so remember to read server rules on these mods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Vanilla Performance Client server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Vanilla Performance Client server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).

Can I add custom mods to Vanilla Performance Client without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.4). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Vanilla Performance Client server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
