About this Modpack
quick rundown
I highly encourage you to customize this modpack yourself. No modpack is perfect, and the custom touches of other players give them a truly perfect look
This was originally supposed to be a continuation of Vanilla-V2, made by nanumpf. As a big fan of the Vanilla-V2 modpack I asked nanumpf for permission to create an alternative to this awesome project, I can't guarantee it's as good as the original, but it's definitely something fresher.
nanumpf and I also discussed what the distinction between our two modpacks should be, so we decided that V3 will be a heavier modded version of V2 in my style. So from now on these two modpacks will split paths but still faintly be connected
Shader support
just like Vanilla-V2, this modpack also supports shaders thanks to Iris shaders
Support
As of now, the only way of contacting me is through my Discord Server or privately.
Every new member or message I get will probably be good for the modpack too, since it keeps my ADHD in check by telling me that actual people are enjoying the modpack.
So thank you to everyone that joins.
Features
This modpack features a wide array of mods to improve your experience on minecraft
- Hunt with a new weapon: the spear
- Don't worry about joining modded servers, as long as it's on the right mod loader and version auto modpack will install missing mods automatically.
- Cook your heart out with several new recipes thanks to the Farmer's delight mod.
- Customize to your heart's content with shaders and resource packs (entity model features and entity texture features are preinstalled)
- Explore a new but nostalgic world with terralith (you will have to disable this mod for superflat)
See the Changelog for new additions, I will probably not update this list until there's enough changes
Also, we're entering the waiting stage for this modpack, so these updates may not be as regularly released as usual.
CREDITS
Foremost, I'd like to thank the original creator nanumpf for letting me create this awesome project. While I don't have that high hopes for it, I do still hope we can at least one day be comparable to the original modpack.
Of course, I also want to thank all my friends for motivating me to do this project.
I honestly couldn't make it without anyone on this list.
And I'd also like to thank my main motivators: Horimiya season 1 and 2 (watch it, it's peak)
and any kind of music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Vanilla-V3 server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Vanilla-V3 server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Vanilla-V3 without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Vanilla-V3 server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
