About this Mod
This mod adds a dual-wield melee combat system.
When the player holds a weapon or attack-capable tool in both hands, dual-wield mode becomes active. In this mode, attacks no longer always come from the main hand. Instead, each strike alternates between hands in sequence: first the main hand, then the off-hand, then the main hand again, and so on. This makes combat feel like true two-weapon fighting rather than a normal single-hand attack loop.
The system is also balanced with separate hand recovery timing. Each hand has its own attack cooldown, so when one hand is used, only that hand goes on cooldown while the other continues recovering in the background. This creates a smoother rhythm and gives the impression of two independent weapons being used in turn. To keep the feature balanced, dual-wield attacks include an additional 0.2 second cooldown compared to normal single-hand combat.
