About this Mod

3Lives

A Minecraft mod aimed at making multiplayer environments more fun!

Features:

You start with 3 yellow hearts indicating lives at the top of your hotbar. On each death caused by a player (direct or indirect), you lose one of these lives/heart. Upon losing all in singleplayer (LAN), you are set to spectator mode. Whilst in multiplayer, you are permanently banned.

There is a /life command that lets you add or remove a player's life for testing purposes!
Alternatively, you can look for playerlives.json in the configs folder, where every player's lives are stored with their UUID.

How to Install 3Lives on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "3Lives". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
