Sleep with benefits.
Tired of yelling at your friends to get in bed? A Mimir is a lightweight, server-side mod that makes sleeping rewarding.
When a player sleeps, the sleeper wakes up refreshed with configurable buffs to start their day.
⚡ "Morning Coffee" Buffs
Skipping the night isn't just convenient; it's empowering. Players who sleep are granted configurable status effects upon waking up to get them ready for the grind.
Default Buffs: Absorption & Strength (Fully customizable!).
Customizable Duration: Control how long the morning rush lasts. (defaults to 60s)
📢 Chat & Titles
Let the server know who saved them from the phantoms.
Action Bar / Title Support: Displays a wake-up message to the sleeper.
Global Chat Announcement: "The night was skipped by [Player] and is [CAFFEINATED]!"
Randomized Tags: The chat message randomly picks a high-energy tag like [WIRED], [LOCKED IN], or [OVERCLOCKED].
⚙️ Configuration
The config file (amimir_config.json) lets you tweak almost everything:
isSleepFeatureEnabled: Toggle the entire mod.
isSoundEffectsEnabled: Toggle the waking up SFX.
effectsDuration_Seconds: Fine-tune specific buff timers in seconds.
wakeUpMessage: The text displayed in the action bar (top of your hotbar).
skipperBuffs: A list of effects to apply (e.g., MobEffects.SPEED, MobEffects.REGENERATION).

📥 Installation
Download the .jar file.
Install the Fabric API.
Drop both into your server's /mods folder.
Restart the server and go A Mimir 😴🥀

How to Install A Mimir on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "A Mimir". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

A Mimir server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is A Mimir compatible with fabric?

Server lagging with A Mimir – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if A Mimir consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
