Overview

Additional fishing is a fabric mod that enhances the fishing experience in Minecraft.
This mod introduces new fish entities and improves the fishing loot table with these fish.
Some of the fish are available in any biome, while others are biome specific.


Fish Locations

The following fish have been added to the fishing loot table in the biomes specified below.

Any biome:

    Bass
    Catfish
    Clam
    Raw Crab claw
    Flounder
    Herring
    Raw Shrimp
    Tuna

Cold/Icy/Snowy biomes:

    Arctic char

Deep oceans:

    Anglerfish

Warm/lukewarm oceans:

    Goldfish
    Koi
    Piranha (also found in mangrove swamp)
    Rainbowfish
    Starfish (also found in ocean & beach)


Fish Entities

The following fish spawn naturally in different water biomes.

    Anglerfish
    Arctic char
    Bass
    Goldfish
    Koi
    Piranha
    Shrimp
    Crab (spawns on beaches)


Aquariums

Additional Fishing adds decorative aquariums to minecraft. Each aquarium can hold one fish and can be decorated with up to four different corals.

How to Install Additional Fishing on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Additional Fishing". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Additional Fishing server crashes on startup – what to do?
