Advanced Archery
A variety of custom Arrows and Bow enchantments
About this Mod
This datapack adds nine new archery enchantments, and recipes for six custom arrows, to Minecraft 1.21.11!
Enchantments
Precision I-III
Obtained by Enchanting/Trading.
Each level of Precision reduces the amount of randomness applied to arrows when fired. At Precision III, all randomness is removed entirely!
Guiding
Obtained by Enchanting/Trading.
After being fired, guiding arrows will veer in the direction their owner is looking.
Scrying
Obtained from End City chests.
If a player has an Eye of Ender in their inventory, it will be consumed on firing a scrying bow, allowing them to follow along with the arrow as a spectator. A mannequin is left behind in their place, and if it takes any damage it will be transferred to the owner and they will be immediately returned.
Ricochet I-V
Obtained by Enchanting/Trading.
Each level of Ricochet allows an arrow to bounce off of walls or blocks one additional time before coming to a stop.
Hydrodynamic
Obtained from Buried Treasure chests.
Hydrodynamic bows fire arrows that are not slowed down as much in water.
Subtle
Obtained from Ancient City chests.
Subtle bows do not produce sound when hitting blocks, keeping them from alerting Wardens of Sculk sensors. Additionally, arrows fired from Subtle bows do not proc aggro or cause player deaths to be attributed to the owner.
Shulking I-III
Obtained from End City chests.
Each level of Shulking allows arrows to fly for 1 second without gravity.
Phototropic
Obtained as Hero of the Village reward.
Phototropic arrows will home in on entities with the Glowing effect.
Repeating I-III
Obtained by Enchanting/Trading.
Each level of Repeating will fire an additional arrow behind the first after a 10 tick delay.
Phasing I-III
Obtained from End City chests.
Each level of Phasing will allow arrows to travel through a single layer of solid blocks.
