About this Mod
Minecraft Alpha Advanced
Minecraft was once a much simpler game. Alpha Advanced aims to smooth over the rough edges in Minecraft Alpha and provide new, but simple, content to keep the game fresh.
Installation Instructions
Alpha Advanced is a Jarmod. It is recommended to install it using either Prism Launcher or MultiMC.
In either Prism or MultiMC, click on 'Edit Instance' on a vanilla instance, 'Add to minecraft.jar' in the 'Versions' section, then navigate to the jar file.
Alternatively, a pre-build MultiMC/Prism instance is available in the Github Release
Bug Fixes
Alpha Advanced fixes a huge number of annoying and game-breaking bugs in a1.1.2_01. From the notorious negative-coordinate ore distribution bug to many crashes, Alpha Advanced provides a far smoother experience compared to the vanilla game.
New World Types
Extending on the Normal/Winter worlds of a1.1.2_01, Alpha Advanced additionally provides Autumn and Spring world types.

Improved Armour and Tools
Alpha Advanced reworks the annoying armour system and improves tool durability, greatly increasing the suitability of the highest-end gear.
New Blocks & Items
From Copper to Coral, Alpha Advanced provides a wider variety of blocks, without the bloat of modern Minecraft, allowing builders to add more variety without block vomit.

How to Install Alpha Advanced on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set modloader Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the modloader loader and matching Minecraft version (a1.1.2_01).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Alpha Advanced". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Alpha Advanced server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong modloader version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (a1.1.2_01). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Alpha Advanced compatible with modloader?

Server lagging with Alpha Advanced – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Alpha Advanced consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
