About this Mod
This is a simple mod that shows if you are lagging or not. I looked to see if a mod like this existed and I found a few that only mesure ping but I wanted to see everything.
This tracks:
- FPS
- Ping
- Ping jitter
- CPU Load
- JVM heap usage (minecrafts allocated memory usage)
- Wifi Signal Strength (when possible)
- Server TPS (an estimate)
How the tracking works:
- 4 bars green means good signal with little to no lag
- 3 bars amber means ok signal with little lag
- 2 bars orange means slightly laggy
- 1 bar dark orange means laggy
- 1 bar red means very laggy
If it is on 1 bar laggy or very laggy it will display the main reason of it lagging next to the indicator in red (like if your ping is bad it will say ping, fps is dropping will say fps, etc)
If you want better detail in your lag while still being somewhat unobtrusive, you can turn on the realtime graph in mod menu that shows a line graph of your lag.
If you want to change what the indicator tracks (for example instead of all metrics only track one) you need mod menu.
I tested it on my Mac and it worked well but it is untested on windows so I am not sure if it works on windows or not.
